Personally I love ducks and being pecked by them isn't that painful! But I get the analogy, here if you need to talk.

Thats awful hun....i don't wish to pry into your reality but hey if there is anything i can do....certainly here if you need someone to talk to. Maybe it might be a good time to take a drive up into those mountains you were telling me about...sometimes good to see things from a differant viewpoint at.

It's just a bunch of frigging nuiciances , pesky ,irritating non- fun . No tragedy by any means. Just a bunch of little pecks by ducks.

I do not think they equate to swans.
Swans could be a bit intimidating for a child or short person they are tall and those wirey necks! Chickens would be more painful even.

Ducks, now sheep! its a positive menagerie!!

Soemtimes it's even more annoying when it's lots of little things, because instead of it being one big thing that you can just confront, you get all these tiny things adding up and fighting them is like trying to nail smoke to the wall.
