I'm out in California...
Where the sunsets are still beautiful and most of the residents don't deserve them. The air is still yellow. So is the grass. I used to believe the miles of yellow grass was the reason they called this the "Golden State", but no, it's because of the Miners 49ers and the gold they found in them thar hills. Of which there is not much left. The hills are now golden because that's the way the grass grows. Next week I start learning about dirt in my Soil Sciences college class. If I find any traces of specks of gold, I won't let you know (wouldn't want to start another gold rush).
