Zarquon's Singing Fish!

Hi stuart!

Great to have you as a scout.smiley - biggrin - I was really pleased when I saw your name and I think you'll do well. Any of us will give you help if you ask for it. Once you're past your first two set of picks (my first two were the most daunting, but then were was a real paucity of good entries), I'm sure you'll find you're an old hand.

Do you know, BTW how to see the recommendations?

Many thanks Zarquon. I suspect your recommendation played some small part in the selection.smiley - biggrin

I have has a few e-mails from Anna with lots of information or links to information, which I will be referring to regularly. One of them was a link to previous picks. My first deadline is 4th Dec so I have a bit of time to look around. Two articles I did have earmarked have already been picked.smiley - wah

Best wishes

Stuart

So you're from Brum? Whereabouts? I spent my student years there and then settled down before moving south.

No Zarquon I'm not from Brum. I hail from the fair county of Cheshire, Ellesmere Port to be precice.

I did have a few Brummy mates when I was in the Army so can understand the language pretty well.

A southerner, then! smiley - laugh

Coming from Lancashire, we thought the south started at Cheshire.

Having come south since, it's interesting how far south the north seems to start here - before Watford in some instances!

A southerner from Cheshire - that an interesting thought!

Have you read Jimster's article on The Mersey Tunnels A880580 and the atatched PR thread. You are not the only one that thinks the River Mersey is the dividing line.

I've just had a look. smiley - smiley I was far more aware of the Mersey Tunnel as a child than the Ferry.

We used to think that Cheshire people were 'posh'.
