h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi there Welcome... I saw your posting in the bug reports and thought I'd stop over to give you a proper 'Oficial' welcome

Among other things I'm an Ace here on h2g2, which stands for assistant community editor. I'm part of the volunteer team who get to meet and greet newcomers on behalf of the staff in what we call the towers but you might well call Bush House... If you need anything, feel free to ask me or one of my fellow aces.

May I draw your attention to the following places:

1. the <./>Smiley</.> page - this helps you to use all h2g2's smileys, like , , , ... if you see one in a conversation that you want to duplicate, click on it to be taken to the relevant part of the smiley page...

2. PeerReview - this is where some of the important business of the building the guide to everything goes on - that's the picking of entries. I hope you may want to write your own entries at some point, and when you do, they'll get reviewed here on their way to becoming part of the edited guide.

3. If you want to chat, try the <./>Talk</.> page, which has info on what the community is talking about...
