Not only have I heard of the latter, he is an inspirational author of stature [to me]. 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' was the first one of his books that I read and the most recent [for me] is 'The Art of the Novel' I recommend them to you if you haven't already enjoyed them.
If you glance at my page you will find some references to Gurdjeiff and Ouspensky, with some conversations between myself and connie L.
not too erudite, but I try my best.
Can I presume to recommend a couple more authors to you - Shusaku Endo 'SCANDAL'...and Jill Paton Walsh 'KNOWLEDGE of ANGELS', and just one more, Boston Teran 'GOD is a BULLET'.......
I am half way through 'Beelzebub's Tales to his Grandson' [all and everything . 1st series] My Gurdjieff library is also listed on my home page. Possibly we share some common interest. perhaps there will be a conversation......... magus alias frank...
