When I first joined h2g2 I found that the Journal and conversations could not be edited once they had been posted. I chose to use Guide entries as my journal and make links to specific events in a life that was to me a completely new environment.
I used My Space as the Index and centre to my escapades in this environment choosing Ancient Brit as my user name a character that I could play out in both real life and the imaginary world of h2g2.
Unfortunately the transformation into Pliny has made some of the links unacceptable.
Most of the Entries were made in Plain Text and the Pliny Plain Text Editor is unable to cope. smiley - wah

I on the other hand used the journal mainly for non-h2g2 links. internal links were either on my PS, or one of my work pages which had a link hidden in my PS. Even then sometimes the links don't work and I am unable to find page.

maybe it is the browser that I am in but for me the one you posted comes back unable to find the page, where if I deliberately leave out dna/h2g2 the parser adds them and goes where I want to be. smiley - smiley

Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~

Which browser do you use, Shagbark. I use a fox that's ablaze (even if I ougt to update it actually, but I'm not sure my old computer complies with an update) and it has no problems with the links

I use an iPad that obviously runs Safari.
The switch to Brunel allso works with my a old computer running Windows XP.
My real issue is with the Pliny Plain Text Editor that does not recognise any links
Pastey tells me this is being looked at in the meantime I switch between Brunel and Pliny as the fanc takes me trying to avoid links.
I nearly always preview my posts to check, but Pliny preview doesn't recognise links that turn out to be ok when you post. smiley - huh
