Well. As you're probably aware each thread represents a different thread. When you post in a thread without using out of character, psychic, or radio brackets you are saying you're there in person. You can move from thread to thread on a page without worrying about a 'between' place, unless there's one prepared - ie. A corridor or streets.
If there is a between place your character can't leave a thread without posting in there first, then in whichever thread you're aiming for.
If you want to change planets you have to post in space in your ship. Usually just stating your destination and leaving place is enough. Then you can land on the planet by posting in a thread in which your ship can land in.
You talk normally to other characters like I'm talking to you. To talk psychically you use the ~~ these ~~, to talk via hologram/radio you use /\/ these (backspace, frontspace)\/\, to say you're doing an action you use * these * in actions you'll often refer to yourself in third person - ie. *throws a brick*, or *brick misses her (ie. me)*. erm.
That's all I can think you mean.
