*decides Creachy's being single minded*
Well, the catterpillar itself could be considered a phalic symbol. Especially if your name is Freud.

Seriously Kitty,James Herbert is noted foor his very graphic n gratuitious sex scenes..only Clive Barker beats him on that one!..Laurell Hamiltons getting close though!..her last book was more like a porno than a horror/mystery

creachy Posted Oct 27, 2003
no, it's ok thankyou, i wil buy my own copy and keep the publishing business going forth and rewarding those gallant men and women known as authors with the riches they truly deserve for their work. although your offer is a noble one it would rob Mr Herbert of one sale that is rightfully his

creachy Posted Oct 27, 2003
really?! i thought it sucked of rhinoceros poo! it is obviously a rip off of 'They' which came out a few months earlier and a bad one at that!
it annoys me when someone has a good idea but it gets lost in deadlines and budget it could have been a quality film, but they hashed it up big time. the plot was empty by mid-film and was surviving solely on special effects shockers which were too far and few between. they should have built on the background of the legend more and tried to explain why something that is a legend and hasn't been witnessed since it's inception suddenly decides to basically attack a town just to get one boy. that made no sense, it became a godzilla of a muck up when it did that. i was very disappointed.
what the industry needs is someone that can mix all the special effects technology of modern day cinema harmoniously with the tension grippers of Hitchcock and Barkeresque horror.

I meant it was pretty good by todays standards of course.. I didnt feel it was much like they of course.. more Jeepers Creepers. anything with a fairy tale undertone tends to spook me anyway.
That Cabin Fever on at the pics looks like it might be ok ..were gonna go see it..wanna come so we can hide behind you n make you hold the popcorn?
