I like system's lyrics, and some of the songs are okay, but some of the songs are just noise. I prefer Rammstein and Iron Maiden myself.

you need to listen to system a lot before you really appreciate them. I only liked two songs from Toxicity - Toxicity and Chop Suey. But they were in different places on the album and i couldn't always fast forward past the others, after listening to them a bit I really began to love them.

I have a slightly different taste in music but I do humour my friends if they choose to play people like System or Papa Roach and stuff. I agree that some of it is inspired but yet some of it is also just noise for the sake of it and to fill space.

You have to listen to their songs a few times before you actually begin to appreciate them.
This happenned with me, and my mate who hates rock but was forced to listed to chop suey multiple times on the radio whilst incapacited. And someone's friend.

I'm not saying system is bad, I'm just saying it isn't as musically pleasing as some other bands.

White man came across the sea,
He brought us pain and misery.
He killed our tribes, he killed our creed,
He took our game for his own need.
We fought him hard,
we fought him well,
Out on the plains we gave him hell.
But many came,
too much for Cree,
Oh will we ever be set free?
Riding through dustclouds and barren wastes,
Galloping hard on the plains.
Chasing the redskins back to their holes,
Fighting them at their own game.
Murder for freedom, a stab in the back.
Women and children and cowards attack.
Run to the hills, run for your lives.
Run to the hills, run for your lives.
Soldier blue in the barren wastes,
Hunting and killing for game.
Raping the women and wasting the men,
The only good Indians are tame.
Selling them whisky and taking their gold,
Enslaving the young and destroying the old.
Run to the hills, run for your lives.

Isn't that a rather long-winded battle-cry?

I've always wondered who Cree is.
