Hey there. Just dropping by to say "Hello."
Hello!
Okay... so no polar bears, vodka, or annoying pop music. Good.
Rhetorical questions... What is the sound of one tree falling in forest where there isn't anyone to hear it because they all have fish in their ears?

Hehehe. Don't get stuck like that... ::places a pry-bar within her arms reach::
Been to my space? U99843

Life is good. I hung out with some friends, read a little bit, played Medal of Honor: Frontline, found some neat stuff on eBay, and somewhere along the line, I managed to fit some sleep in there somewhere.... Oh and I seem to have misplaced my wallet... I hope I just left it at home. It was a good idea to put a photo copy of my driver's license in my car at least.
How about you? What are you up to?
Heyyo.
Karvarii Posted Jun 10, 2002
You've done lots of fun things I see. I'll post what I've done first thing in the morning... In meanwhile RL is calling...

Aww... ok. First thing in the morning? It's 11:30. Oh yeah... EIGHT hours difference. Time zones are

Ohh yeah, first thing in the morning it is. I've been doing loads of stuff - finished H2G2 book, attended a huge and boring family meet, did some hanging around with friends, studied for a bit, played Heroes of M and M 4 for the sister, and worked, worked, worked. Also had my yoga and kickboxing classes Well that's about as much as I can remember for now
Eight hours difference is a lot - it makes you person from another part of the world

! She's starting to suspect!
oh... um... nothing. nevermind.
Kickboxing? Neato. I used to do TKD. I really ought to go back to it, but the place I used to go to recently closed down, and all the other places are a bit further away from my house. Oh, and I've taken up scuba diving too. That reminds me, I need to go look for a dive trip or two to fill in the summer...

You lucky person Having any classes nearby! Mine are half an hour drive from home I've been doing scuba for a couple of years now, though I haven't dived in a long time - I need vacation to do that, there's not much scuba locations down here But I might go somewhere to dive this summer

Where are you now? Still Moscow? Yes, I'd expect that there wouldn't be many dive sites there... You could always try Florida or the Caribean. Actually, I'd go with the Caribean. I think the water is clearer there. But, I guess it depends on what time you go. When I got certified, the open water dive I went on was over these sunken WWII military tanks. It was amazing to see all the coral and things growing all over the armor. You could even see stuff growing inside the vehicle. The visibility wasn't that great though, and I'd like to check it out sometime when there's better conditions. The tanks were just off of Madiera Beach, at least that's where the dive boat left from.

Erm, I usually go Egypt ot Indian sea They have really poor visiability, but it's beatiful down there... Lot's of different fishes and stuff. Plus the time difference is a bit easier to handle.
I saw old sunken ship once on my dive trip somewhere in Greece. It was quite a nice experience - all those seaweeds growing on it, fish swimming near by. Something from an old adventure story, really

I'd love to dive Egypt. Maybe one of the underwater archiological digs. That'd be awesome. I'm going night diving this weekend. I'm a little apprehensive. I hope they go over some precautions like, how not to lose your buddy in the dark," and whatnot...

Karvarii Posted Jun 18, 2002
I did night dive once. It was quite fun experience, though you get tired like hell We were given some lamps, like the ones are used in the coal mining - you can follow the lights and you'll find one of your buddies anyway And keep close to the others Have a nice trip
