Thanks for the welcome rocket man. i have no basic training in the computing realms so i have no idea when i am using all the boards what is important and have to read everything and work things out by brain each time - so i am constantly feeling overwhelmed with information!!!
give me a short cut - i posted the page before proof reading so if i should change it does it come back to you and then get reposted?
Would it be better for me to start detailing some of the intelligence i have developed rather than invite others who are interested to begin discussion?
have you any suggestions based on what i posted?
thanks for your time.

At first, the conversation forums can be a bit overwhelming, but please keep trying!. Here's a useful page that will tell you a lot about the boards here at h2g2 - <./>DontPanic-Forums</.>
Once you've posted to a conversation, you can't change what you said. The best way is to click 'preview message' and make sure you get it right first time. With your Personal Space and Guide Entries, you can read edit them as many times as you like
<>
Why not do both? You can begin writing your article by clicking 'Add Guide Entry' on the left of your Personal Space. If you mention that you're writing the article on your Personal Space, and would like other researchers to discuss it/contribute, then you'll be more likely to gain a response.
If you'd like some help writing your entry(s), then be sure to visit Writing-Collaborative - The Collaborative Writing Workshop.
