My sincerest apologies. I think you may have over-reacted to an unintentional slight from me. But I certainly over-reacted to your comments . I'll be more careful in what I say in future. I really do mean only to explain my point of view. When I have scientific knowledge, I like to share it. When I don't know, I like to shut up and leave it to others. So if it seems as if I'm ignoring questions, it is because I don't know the answers.

I really do regret hurting you. I have been feeling not only ashamed of myself but also quite miserable ever since my outbursts

I promise (you, myself and everyone else here in hootooville) that I will do my utmost to ensure I don't do it again

More than enough time has passed for me to realise what a complete ar$e I was the other day. Although I can think of (invent?) reasons why/how, I'm acutely aware there are no excuses

The main reason I like this site so much is that 'real-life' virtues (of honesty, compassion, understanding, forgiveness etc) are not only valued but also expressed here - despite the awkward limitations of text-only communication - a medium that is, if not in its infancy, prone to adolescent clumsiness

I would really like to grow up/older with you as one of my 'virtual neighbours'
