h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Just thought I would say hello and thank you for the helpful tips on how to use h2g2.

Please could you advise if I can put my book on my guide entries so people can read it before publication so that they can comment or ask questions on my book.

If you go to A462494 And use the first link which should be contribute to the guide
This should open a new page you can write in a bit like your personal space but this is for your guide entry
But if you go down the page there is a box not for review if you tick that a scout will read it and give you feedback on it and you never know if its realy good it might end up on the front page


in regards to the book you want to show on h2g2

obviously you will know beeing a writer that the things you put on here if there not your own work etc etc then you need the origonal persons including any pictures you need to use
you could have a word with the art team make sure that pictures dont breake the house rules A829415

If you have it on a computer you can copy and paste it to the guide entry

open the guide entry the click minimise it this should leave it on your tool bar (mines on the left)but close it on your page

Go to where you have saved it copy paste the go to tool bar and click to open it then just paste it away you go

if its a big book you can use more than one guide entry

what i would do in that case is use the A numbers on the top right hand side of the page for every page you use then open a new guide entry and do.....

A100000 chapter one
A1020000 chapter two

Any way if you need help with that id be happy to

Thank you for your advice.

I will use the box not for review so that a scout can review my book before I place it in my Guide Entries and hopefully I will be able to post my book in my Guide Entries by the end of August for people to preview my book before release and to create a forum for people to ask questions, share their thoughts, and give me a few ideas for a quarterly newsletter which I plan to start in December 2004 for the Friends of the Rainbow Movement.
