Ok, now what do I say that won't get red flags waving in the Mods room.
Can I talk about Stargate (Have to say I'm not impressed with both series so far) I doubt it because it's not on the BBC and it's not written by Russell T Davis
Can I talk about The 4400 (Last episode this week, what is Jordan Collier going to do with all that Promicin? Will Creepy Isabelle get her come uppance? Will Diana really marry Ben or will she give him back to April? Does Garrity posses a first name and does he posses more than 3 shirts? Does Nina have another suit? Will Richard see sense) I doubt it because it's not on the BBC and it's not written by Russell T Davis and doesn't star David Tennant or John Barrowman.
Can I talk about my writing. I doubt it because *Looks both ways and whispers* it's fiction and 50% of it wouldn't get through the filter.
So what does that leave....yes my knitting
(Are you bored yet? I did say at the beginning it was demented ravings)
Since the summer I have knitted 2 hooded scarves, one in a blue and white space dyed yarn for me and one in a lilac space dyed yarn for Alex, she'd got a beret and gloves to match. I've done myself some gloves in a gorgious Japanese silky yarn I got in a yarn stash swap on Live Journal.
(How am I doing, I'm not offending anyone too much am I?)
where was I? oh yes, A beret for myself out of pure new wool, some bed socks for my sister and some for Rev Nick's wife, I'm now doing a little something for Nick that should be finished by tomorrow (If I remember to take the pattern to work)
And that's about it, if you've got this far Thank you for reading the mindless ravings of one who can't seem to open her mouth without offending someone.

No, things like how many stitches, how many rows, what sized needles to use when to increase and decrease.
I'm a real knitting geek, you can tell can't you?

It's the stretch in the wool, innit.

I didn't use wire, i used pre-turned rings. It's really fun, I've ran out of rings though.

I used a pattern I got of this site.

Here I step in, after facing the ghoullie hordes, and hear people discussing knitted chain-mail willy warmers?
*goes back to the ravening hordes ...*

The phrase is woven. You weave chain-mail. It's a woven chain-mail willy warmer. And since it's made of metal, it doesn't have to be very large

It's still not the most "comforting" of thoughts, no matter HOW you weave it.

*Thinks a little too much about the willy-warmers*
You ought to see the wrap I knitted over the summer! It's such a cute pattern, and it works so well with variegated yarn!

I wonder what'd happen if you forgot to take the chainmail off before you, ahem, "went to bed"
