Hi David smiley - bigeyes

Being the nosy type I dropped by your page and was interested to read that you want to study animation at University, which by a mildly curious coincidence is what my daughter would like to do. smiley - ok

Hey-ho!

Yeah, animation has always been a big love of mine ever since I was so high. *Places hand 2ft above floor in comical manner*

If I fail to click with animation, I'll try my hand at newspaper cartoons. Anything fun and cartoony I'd like to do.

Where is your daughter studying at the moment?, he says with an added tone of charm and sophistaication to his voice. smiley - biggrin

My daughter has just started her eleventh year at school but has already taken her GCSE Expressive Arts Exam (a year early as it's an additional 'out-of-school' subject).

She hopes to go on to Durham University, which is close to us, probably so Mum can still do her washing, ironing and cooking. smiley - biggrin

*Waves to Dave*

With regard to Wallace & Grommit, she says that she does like them, but not as much as she used to and prefers to draw animé characters.smiley - bigeyes

Art is one of Mair's favourite past times and school subjects. She is always drawing manga-style drawings and if you'd like to view a few of them, here's a link to an album at Fotango, where I uploaded some of her work to for friends and family to view. smiley - bigeyes

Yes - the more blood and gore the better, which I suppose is quite unusual for a vegan. smiley - vampiresmiley - monster

We bought Mair a DVD boxed set of 'Nightmare On Elm St' films for Crimbo and for her birthday 'Cannibal the Musical', which she finds hilarious. smiley - laugh

The drawings are really good. smiley - ok

I especially liked the ones of the young lady sitting by the window and the ghostly apparition.

Freddy Kreuger scares me. No matter how silly they say the films become, I still need a pillow to hide behind. smiley - yikes
