I've found when I leave the pc unattended for a long time it tends to clog with accumulated cache files, temp files and related material. An excellent program for cleaning the system is:

When I first ran it, I was so shocked by the pictorial material it was bringing in the process of shredding it, I very nearly unsubscribed. I ran it again and it came up clean and the program has only occasionally since brought up material of the character when I ran it after a contact with a questionable site. It also has an advanced shredder feature that is often helpful with unwanted difficult to disinstall programs.

Thank you very much IT, I'll give it a go tomorrow - this computer is clogged with stuff I know nothing about - since I'm not very good with computers.
