No that good as of late. This week he got a blood-cot in his leg and he's lost all feeling in it. Plus he's now down from 9st about 6 months ago to 7st!

The worst thing, for me anyway, is the feeling of 'wanting to do something, but knowing that there's nothing you can do'

He's also got a McMillan Nurse now, I sorted that with the GP this week. Plus, he's got some respite care next month to give my mum a break from it all.

So, we're finally getting some form of help.

I really can't thank you enough for the help and support you've offered me.

No problem, try and make sure your Mom gets a good break. It's bound to be taking it out of her. It might be worthwhile for her to get a check up. Tell her Granny's mithering

Sorry I haven't been on for awhile. My Dad died, peacefully in his sleep at home, about 3 weeks ago. I've been going through the griefing thing..hence the reason I haven't been on.

Thanks you for your wonderful support during this difficult period for me. At least I know he's out of the pain now, and that gives me some comfort.

and for your mom.

Remember him as he was, fit and healthy & celebrate all the good things he did.
