Kerr_Avon - hunting stray apostrophes and gutting poorly parsed sentences Started conversation Oct 5, 2006
Saturday 28th October is to be Camp Night in our local, in memory of Dave, the chap theat snuff it around this time last year.
The costume theme is just 'camp'. Bit on the broad side, and I'm struggling for inspiration. I'm in the process of persauding him that he *is* going as Rocky (from the Rocky Horror Show), but I dunno what to do myself. Frank N Furter to match is too similar to the Black Canary costume I did last New Year.
So people, suggest things!

How about one of the Scissor Sisters if you can squeeze yourself into one of the costumes they like to wear
Had to reply, that's my birthday you know

I'm 5' 7", 13 stone and a 32" waist. I look like a rugby player that shrunk in the wash. Scissor Sisters not so much of an option.
I'll be sure to raise a glass for you - there's not going to be a beer shortage.

Your could always stand out and go dressed in a tent. For the alternative meaning of the word.

**imagination goes into overdrive**
Just make sure I get a photo, will you?
Why not go as Giles Brandreth?

No. I was mentioning him as a sort of antithesis.

So what was the camp costume that was decided upon for the party in memory of Dave?
