I note that you have no mention of the 'Spyro the Dragon' series of games for the PSone in the list on your PSone entry. I have completed all three of the games over the past few months if you want a contribution on them. They are all engagingly daft, relatively simple to play and, with a central character who's small and purple and whose best friend is a golden dragonfly, quite cute as well!
On the subject of Fantasy, I am also into David/Leigh Eddings, having read all of his books right through from 'Belgarath the Sorcerer' (which I finished reading for the first time in a Hotel lobby in Hong Kong!) to 'The Hidden City' several times, though I've only read 'The Redemption of Althalus once to date. I can remember when I first started reading them (back in the bad old days when I was an unemployed ex-student), I was borrowing them from Cardiff City Library as I didn't want to spend money if I wasn't sure whether I'd get into them (having had several false starts with other books), getting through them in a matter of days and hastily going back for the next one; hoping that they hadn't been borrowed by someone else.

Whoever takes my fancy, really. I don't follow particular authors, though anything that David and Leigh put out is always worth considering immediately without a cautionary trip to the Library first.
I actually got around to re-reading 'The Redemption of Althalus' again last week.
Superb.
I'd be delighted to offer my assistance with 'Spyro', as I have played the games to death and love them in a twee, cutesy sort of way.

OK. So if you would be kind enough to start a new article in which u can write a review for Spyro I'd be very greatful! Once that's done then just post a link to the article here please. Thank you very much....Forever greatful.

Will do.
I'll make sure there's something serviceable before I post the link, though.
Don't want you linking to a blank page or anything!

Hi - sorry this is taking a while. I don't have much time online to write entries, and have to do most of my research on notepaper before typing it up!
Anyway - I've done probably about two thirds of the entry now and it can be found at A691409. I do intend to finish it when I get the time, but I can only do it very early in the morning or during my lunch break. The rest of the time I have to w*rk.
Any comments you might have on it would be most welcome. There are probably typos in it as I haven't proofread it yet.

Wot can I say.......WOW!!!! If that's stilled to be finished.....well that is just excellent.....can I take u on full time??? If u could just inform me once u've finished, I can proofread it for u......while I faint in astonishment! This is the best sort of review I could hope for. It just seems a pity ur online time is sooo restricted....but hey...its only school....I presume?

Actually it's work - I left school quite some time ago (14 years ago in fact, doesn't time fly?!). I don't miss school, though I do miss the holidays. I now get less holiday time annually than I used to get for my entire summer break . On the plus side, though, I do get paid for my efforts!
Just to make me feel even more of an old bag, when I left school, they still used BBC Micros in the computer room! Even when I did my typing and wordprocessing exams in the sixth form. I think there was only one PC in the whole school - and that was used for typing the notes we took home...

I also have a rather nice, comfy swivel chair on wheels which can zoom quite effectively across the office carpet - if you zoom across when someone asks you a question it can make you look like a very efficient and capable computer operator who really knows how to make their chair on wheels work. Unfortunately I can only zoom backwards, so I have to be careful not to tip myself over if I hit an obstruction in the floor!

New-ish - but unreliable. And our internet connection is really unstable, which is another thing that limits my time on line as it sometimes collapses in the middle of my lunchbreak and I can't use it! Plus our network servers keep collapsing, and my 'normal' template in Word ended up getting so corrupted yesterday that it needed to be renamed and I lost a whole load of useful macros.
Mind you, my computer at home is even more unreliable, so I shouldn't complain.
But I will.
These are prettier that those old BBC Micros at school though!
