h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I headed out for an intergalactic cruise for a year or so, but I'm pretty much back now.
I've stuck an EG through PR, a member of the Forum, that sort of thing. I'm not as obsessive as I used to be, but hanging around a bit. I organised a Leeds meet up a week or so back, which was fun.

I'm currently trying to think of a new article to put through, as there seems to be very little on the 'What's Next?' list and I don't want hootoo to run dry! I can't say I'm having much success though.

Where are you these days? Back in Nodnol?

So you're in Leeds then? Blimey, that's even further up North. I haven't lived in the Big Smoke for 15 years - think you may be confusing me with someone else there
I'm back in Reading as it happens, with a possible aim of moving to Brighton, eventually leading to emigration to Ireland.

I'm also sort of hanging around hootoo - lurking mostly, as I still don't appreciate the general tenor of views around here. But I'll stick with British English and the like, for now anyway...

No, I just remember getting the address of a lass from your party in Reading, and she lived in London. I get confused easily.

We're considering emigration too, amusingly. It's what all the cool kids are doing. Heh.

I'm trying to steer clear of a lot of things. I've unsubscribed to a lot of Forum threads, although there's still quite a few good conversations there.

I started a new job today, which is good news. Even better, I think I might like it. Of course, this is day one, but a job that allows me to have breaks is waaaay in my good books. Administration may not be the most exciting thing in the world, but by the looks of it it won't be boring, and it doesn't involve any customers. That in itself is bliss. No customers!
