I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me there. Anyway, as I was saying, I'm the sub for your frog entry (A653285), and I was just asking about a little query. You write:
"Common frogs are 'explosive breeders'. This means that once a year they mate and leave fertilised eggs in prodigious quantities. A single female can lay 1000-1500 eggs."
By this do you mean that the female can lay 1000-1500 eggs at any one time, or through the course of her lifetime? I'd be most grateful if you could clear this up for me.
