Love your article on "The Physics of Space Shuttle Re-Entry." I was wondering, where did you get your data on plasma activity during Entry Interface? This is something I'd like to look into further.

Sorry if this isn't the proper place to post such a question, I'm rather new to h2g2.

Hi Brellic

No deep research, I'm afraid. I collected info from a variety of internet sites and then just tried to put together a popular science piece. The main source was NASA's own website and the collection of references here:
http://science.ksc.nasa.gov/shuttle/technology/sts-newsref/stsref-toc.html#sts_sys

On where to post questions, this is fine. It doesn't connect to the Entry, though. It would have if you'd clicked on "Start a New Conversation" at the foot of the Entry. Using that method, everyone reading the Entry in future would see your posting in the list below it.

Now you're here, you should take a good look round h2g2. It's unlike anything else. An ACE will be along to show you around.

See you again I hope
