This is brilliant! Weirdly funny, and funnily weird....
Congratulations!

Why thank you!
(I could point you to more, if you're interested. Some of it even comes fairly close to an explanation)

Are you sitting comfortably?
Well, the seal came here in the a little over three years ago, lead by another Researcher who was called Lion.
Some fun-poking at the Edited Guide generated a silly joke about the "End of the Pier Revue", and Pinniped became the owner of a pier. In the early revues (linked here in their Post Versions), Lion is the narrator.
A660782, A664256, A667613.
The original idea was to use the EPRs to dramatise events taking place in other conversations. By EPR4, A670466, it was getting quite elaborate. Alberta had arrived as Pinniped's PA. Speak (the Speak-Your-Weight-Machine, best explained by A654608) too.
Orchid the lisping killer whale came next. Her origins stemmed from the Cat Wars, and there was a lot of role-play around that time - great fun but now hard to trace and reconstruct. Roofle the limpet appears in there somewhere. By the time that EPR5 (A1905806)appeared, the tone was quite subversive and personal efforts to expand the Edited Guide were well advanced. The most recent to date A2102590, really quite dark and confrontational. Ilmarinen the man-bear appears in this one.
I've had lots of fun with Pinniped the seal and his dysfunctional menagerie. This Space-Entry is really due an overhaul. I don't suppose that many people finding it these days will have a clue what it's about!

Thanks! I'll have a look at all that, and I'm sure I'll be well rewarded - I like what I've seen so far. Good writing!

Can I take a liberty?
I'm a Miner, you see. I've been wondering about submitting your "World War 3" piece to the AWW. It really captures the intimacy and world-shrinking character of this community.
But I'm worried that this might invoke painful memories for you, and so I need to ask.
Please let me know.

Hi, Pinniped - no, that's okay - a whiole back, it would have been too painful, but now, I think that's really good! Thank you for the thought.
In other words, yes, feel free! I'd never have thought of that myself...
