The usual machine is a scorched wreck (honestly, I will never leave a computer on in an empty house again!)
This is Scrofulina's, up in her boudoir. Tidy little job but configured for graphic design, well-dodgy favourites and poncey attachments like a graphics tablet.
She'll chuck me out in a minute. Either that, or the lilac walls, the stench of incense and the casually-strewn silk underwear will get me first.

Pubic saplings are so onerous n'est pas? but such a joy. You will miss them when they move on. The chambers will become delightful museums filled with memories. Actually quite enjoyable day out escursions. You and the Wedell will delight in revisiting the war zones without the battles. You will possibly forget they were war zones...don't! Your time is now, savour, enjoy, remember the time before the war broke out, be young, sing the songs you sang before, again. They (the pubic saplings)will be gone too soon, to live their lives, live yours...time is so short, the arc is so tiny, don't waste a bit of it.
Once it has moved it can never come back.
take care

Wow, still not evicted!
(They think I'm doing Sainsbury's, the poor dears)
Boots, I just want to say that you're the best writer here, with the possible exception of me, plus a very few others. You are superb. In fact I am going to go as far as saying that you are absolutely the best writer here who doesn't smell of fish and isn't Welsh. Your stuff fills me with delight.
Yes, I have been drinking. What's that got to do with it?
Apart from the northener-disparaging and the confession to a Guardian-habit, you've made my evening.
Bless.
Gotta run.

Cross-dressing is , but I draw the line at undie-incest. Tut-tut...
(nadia's Welsh)
Trout's better than Funderlik, but don't tell him, 'cos he's swollen enough already.
...perhaps I'd better rephrase that...
Breadth is what it's about, don't you think?
...start again...
It's well and good to write well in one genre. The real challenge is to perform in different outfits, yeah?
...kind of takes us back to the beginning, really...
