Er, have you seen this at the original entry?

Question is, do you want to add any/all of that info? smiley - smiley

Hi GB

smiley - cool it's you.

flyingtwinkle does this for some reason. That info is a pure lift from the table at the Kelham link, so no, I don't. It's already there, if anyone wants it.

Correction : it's at the River Don Engine link (which is also to the Kelham site, only a sub-page).

FWIW, the statement on that linked page, that the customer for the fourth engine is unknown, is now out of date. We traced it to William Beardsmore's steelworks in Glasgow.

...OK, so I'm an anoraksmiley - biggrin

flyingtwinkle does this for some reason - yes, I've noticed, smiley - winkeyethat's why I thought I'd mention it, I didn't take it for granted you'd read it.

Not sure what you mean by "anorack"smiley - laughI thought we were all anorack-types around 'eresmiley - tongueincheek

We must be near neighbours I reckon, unless you've just got an obsessionsmiley - huhwith Yorkshire and don't really live theresmiley - tongueout

No, don't add it in. It's not 'official' yet. The Kelham site will be updated once the research is ratified. Till then, it's an unsubstantiated fact, and we can't have those in the EGsmiley - winkeye

True about us all being anoraks. A nice variety of anorak styles, though.

I live in Sheffield, a place my lovely Leeds-born (smiley - yuk) wife refers to as the 'North Derbyshire Industrial Museum'. You're a Yorkshire lass yourself, then?

If you want to correct something, then there's a date with a 'th' on it and a 4000 without a comma. Personally I think these things always look better with a few minor Guideline transgressions, though.

In fact, if I'd have known it was going to be you, I'd have forgotten how to tags yet againsmiley - biggrin

Really, I've only just become a sub-ed (last week) so I'm still cutting my teeth, wet behind the ears, whatever you want to use.

My mother issmiley - ok
My Dad is from Lancs, they moved here after I had been conceived in Leeds smiley - blush so I was born in Cleethorpes, and lived here all my life. I'll never leave while my parents still live.smiley - smiley
I've been a single parent so long - I needed them 20 years ago when I was divorced with 3 kids under 8.
They're 88 & 86 now, and they need me so, I'm here for them smiley - biggrin

So no, I'm a Yellowbelly Lincolnshire lass, and a Meggie to boot as I was born *over the hill* in Cleethorpes Maternity Home (no longer there smiley - sadface - but I had one of my kids there, one of the last babies to be born there)

<>

Oh thank yousmiley - grovelfor giving me something to earn my name on your entry!smiley - wow

Any links you want adding (on the morning) list them here - too tired now, I don't wanna b****cks anything upsmiley - yikes

Ah, as you're away in Parissmiley - crosssmiley - envy I'm going to be bold and return the entry to the Editors so it gets in the pending queue. I can't think that I've done any alterations you might object to, all I've done is add links...anyway if there's anything you *don't* like, post here and we can sort it with a friendly Curator at Editorial Feedbacksmiley - ok

Next time in Paris is going to be expensive : I'm taking six out to dinner. The idiots bet me that France would go further in the World Cup than Englandsmiley - erm. I'm just glad I didn't compound it by taking the bet with the crazed neighbour who thought that Murray would beat Roddick.

I'm a Yellow Belly too, dontcha know. Scunthorpe in my case.

You're doing a good and right thing by your parents. Respectsmiley - ok

I think you can send the Entry on now, yeah. Not sure about the light bulb link (that Entry sums up what's wrong with the EG, IMHO). The 'well' link is well strange too, but quite smiley - cool.
