Hi,
I am Gazongola. I heard about you as i got a message when i registered. I am writing to ask, how do i get one of those pages, like the one you have got, introducing myself. I chose my name as i was following the Slarti Bartfast idea. To outsiders, I am known as Christopher and i am 14 years old from Birmingham.
Thanks

Hi Gazongola!
I used to live in Birmingham too. To put something in your personal space, you need to click on your 'Edit' button. You may want to put something in plain text first of all just to let people know a bit about yourself. If you want to spice up your user page a bit more, one of the best guides I know is this: A690518.
It's nice to put in a bit about your interests and you can also put in links to places you might want to visit regularly.
There's a Birmingham researchers' group too! U211744
Let me know if you need any more help.
Thanks

Thanks for the tips. The Birmingham reasearchers group isn't up to much really. Where did you live in Birmingham? Is it true i can write an article on anything?
Thanks

Hi Gazongola,
Where did I live in Birmingham? Quite a few places. Started off as a student in Sutton Coldfield, moved to Lozells, then Selly Oak, then Nechells, then Hockley and finally Great Barr.
Yes, you can write an article about virtually anything. You probably need to be careful about which forum you submit articles to, if that's what you intend doing. So, for example, if you want to write for the Edited Guide, you need to meet the Writing-Guidelines before submitting an entry to <./>PeerReview<./>. If you wanted to write stuff which wasn't factual, or in the third person, you could try the Writing-Alternative or submit stuff to <./>ThePost</.>.
Thanks

Hi, Guys,
Nice to see Birmingham mentioned, and to know I am not alone here in Brum
Look forward to Gazongola's page.

I just made a page but i am having trouble putting in a picture.
Could you send me any good smily codes? It would be great if they had a Birmingham one...

Click on my name at the top of the post and it will take you straight to my page. That goes for anyone else's too. If you like what you see and want to go back to any of them, click Add to Friends and it will appear at the bottom of your page for future reference. You can also click on "Who's Online" to find other interesting people.
I'm a gal by the way, not a guy, but I am not sure I qualify for that title any more, or your compliment, being a wrinkly .
Click on any Smiley and it will take you straight to the Smiley pages. It also gives you an explanation of each one, though most are self explanatory.
There are some great ones as you will see if you look at my page. Not techie but they brighten up the text. No brummie ones I am afraid unless you count and you shouldn't know about that yet
As for pictures you will need to get to grips with GuideML, which I haven't - I don't have time.
I am glad I am not the only one that has to go to bed just as it gets interesting

Unexpectedly been able to get home for lunch!
Sounds as though you could use the 'Spicing up you user space' page that I suggested for Gazongola, too, Websailor! It's really not that difficult.
These are good links: A395552, A187229.

Thanks. Will take a look, but can't promise anything, there's always something more "important" to do, like now
