I'm just about to start a practical intro to T'ai Chi. Any tips for a good place to start reading about it?

You mean you're just about to start a class? Or do you want to find a good book? You have to be careful when finding books.
Best to find a class that does the real Chinese 24 forms, not the Chun Man Ching style, if you can.
Whereabouts are you?

I'm just going off to work, however one of the best books I've come across is:
'Taijiquan: 24 and 48 Postures with Applications' by Master Liand Shou-Yu and Wu Wen Ching
ISBN 0-940871-29-7
I'll have a look round for others when I get back from work, if you like.

I'll need to check they have it in the Library here, so it might be as well if you could let me have any other recommendations you reckon are good?

Been out all day, F/b, taking the lad to a birthday party.
Will have a think. This was the best one. There is another in the China Sports series, however, I'm not sure how easy this one would be to obtain and I may have lent it to someone.
There are also good books on Qigong (Chi Kung), if you are interested in those. Usually people who do t'ai chi will also do some of these forms. They're energy exercises.
