A couple of little points
In 3rd para. under Engagement heading you've put
"Although making a proposal of marriage was generally a task for men,"
clean car, mow lawn and propose, is it really considered a task possibly change 'task' to responsibily or something similar.
Last para. before The Reception heading.
"This apparently dates back around 200 years. King George III"
I had meant to change 200 years, to the relivant century with King George III, as this will 'date' but couldn't work out whether it was 17th or 18th century. history is not a strong point of mine.

The George III thing is either 'late 18th' or 'early 19th' Century. I'll add something, but keep it quite vague..!
