What will happen to the conversations attached to the old entry if they remove it?

I think what should happen with an update is that the new Entry 'takes over' the A-number of the original, so that all the conversations remain attached. The old Entry then disappears from the EG and appears only as its original unedited version (assuming the author never deleted that). This didn't happen with the Watford Entry, as it was picked from PR by the conventional route, rather than being treated as an update, so I don't know what will happen...

If you do replace it, it should be made clear that the conversations took place within the context of the other (moved entry), maybe by posting on each conversation with the link to it.

I saw that they updated the old A-number with the new material, but now the (identical) version with the new A-number is still kicking around (and I still have editing rights to it). Is there any action you'd like performed with this one?

Good question..! I usually delete my old Entries after they've been approved, so unless you can think of any reason to keep the old one, I'd say chuck it!

OK, it's gone to the h2g2 equivalent of landfill.
