Hello Polster!
I know that you are not around for a while but I thought I would drop by and say hello! It was great to meet you on Saturday - I have not laughed that much in a while
I would sit here and drink while I wait but ....
See you soon

Hello!
I'm back, and have decided to convert to Buddhism immediately. Not because I'm religious - I just like the outfits.
Anyway - thanks for stopping by. Good to see you. Glad you could make it. Sit awhile and have a , and maybe a jam sandwich?
Did enjoy the meet (despite suffering the after-effects of a late night drinking spree the night before - I think it really began to become noticable by about 9ish, at which point started struggling to maintain conciousness - fell asleep on the train home but fortunately awoke in time for the correct station). Thanks for taking me under your wing! It was much appreciated.
About that trap-door - we really should have gone that way, I'm sure Cr0wley wouldn't have got us lost if we had. I find that it's the only way to travel.....

Aha! The wanderer returns!
How were the sunnier climes?
I somehow can't quite see the Buddist image woking with the black fedora...
Next time I'm sure we'll find a servicable trapdoor - so long as there's nothing lurking down there!

Polly! Good to see you!
* takes but passes on the jam sandwich *
I struggles onto another tube train this week and was seriously considering the trap door, but there were far too many people to open it so yet again I was limited by the constraints of stations!
I am not sure about the new look Polster! what will the chaps say on Thursday and hey - us 'gals' may have a thing or ttwo to say if you steal all the limelight and become the belle of the ball!

Sunnier climes magnificent - go if you get the chance - it's definitely not like Sussex...
Maybe I'll just stick to the robes at the weekend, when I'm known as Marjorie anyway.
One disappointment on the trip - couldn't find the trapdoor on the airplane. Looked everywhere but there wasn't one. Flew over my house as well so would have speeded the journey up by a couple of hours.

Hmmm... So how come you weren't Marjorie at the meet?
Perhaps the trapdoor was hidden... somewhere on the flight deck.

I got that Saturday off for good behaviour!
I tried the flight deck but they wouldn't let me in. Some new security thing. Actually I was sat next to the emergency exit for the first couple of hours, so lucky I wasn't still there as we came over Sussex...

Sadly enough did end up wearing a skirt in India.
For some reason Indians frown on short-wearing in general (I think that's for everyone, not just for me). Didn't realise in advance so did take some shorts with me, which I decided to wear when it was appropriate. One day ended up at a mosque (or temple - can't remember which), and they made me wear an impromptu skirt to cover my offensive legs...
I believe some of my colleagues took many, many photos....

* hopes they get to see the photos! *
So what were you doing in India apart from wearing a skirt?

Did a bit of touring - Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Varanasi.
Highlights included elephant ride, Taj Mahal, 6am boatride on the Ganges and England/India one day international (cricket) which England won by two runs...

Took about 80 odd photos - just awaiting a trip to Boots now to get them developed.
Taj Mahal is very impressive. You kinda see it far off, then your view of it is obliterated for a bit. You have to go through this big gatehouse building, and as you go through the Taj Mahal kind of hits you full on. You stand and stare in awe for a bit...

Brilliant game - no segregation so little pockets of England supporters amidst thousands of Indian supporters. Lots of good natured banter, and the match was a real see-saw game all the way through - didn't know who was going to win from one over to the next.
Hello by the way - what'ya doing on-line at a normal time of the day? Thought you were having to be an evening contributor at the moment?
