Got a crummy counter offer. We'll be thinking tonight, and deciding whether to counter the counter offer in the morning.

I saw what you put on the other social media site that shall remain nameless.

Make sure that the septic service you use is one that is also a licensed plumber. Another possibility is to get a recommendation from a real, licensed plumber for a septic service that can check it out.

This would be to help you avoid anything like what happened to my mom 2 years ago, when she needed her septic tank pumped, and found out it was under the slab the house was on.

The trailer Park I live in needs to have all of its sewer lines replaced. We worked our tails off looking for sources of funding for the work, which begins this summer. (We did find funding, some of it improbable but gratefully received...)

I just realized that I hadn't said anything here yet...

We finally submitted a counter-counter offer the day before yesterday. The day before *that*, our agent spent a couple of hours with the seller's agent to try to work out what would be acceptable, given the numbers we gave her. So here's to hoping...
