Awwww, c'mon, it's been ages since I heard a good hormonal rant. And then saw the look of sheer embarassment when the person later saw what they had said.

My appointment has been moved up to August 19

This is what I get for figuring last night that if it hadn't started yet, I wouldn't have morning sickness this time 'round

I've heard that tiramisu stays down better than most foods when you're sick.

But it's made with coffee

I wouldn't say I'm fully nauseated, but I've got that weird tingly feeling in the points of my jaw, and extra saliva.

There might be a way to make it without coffee.....

My friend in Maryland has two boys, their names are Creed and Will. Not William, just Will. I just thought that might go will with Faith

Will Edmund Pawloski... Not bad, but not quite... Then again, as Kelli pointed out, it's not like I'm coming up against a deadline *quite* yet

Is there something I'm missing here? If the baby is a girl, and you've already picked out boys' names, will she be stuck with the feminine counterparts like Wilhelmina, or Edith?

Well, we haven't decided yet if we're going to try to find out the baby's sex before birth or not--and even if we try, it's too early yet. Last time, we waited, and we had about 5 boy's names--we didn't come up with a girl's name until I was about 6-7 months along. Good thing we realized we'd better come up with at least 1, huh?

That's exactly my point.

I've always thought "Nick" to be a good name. Easily adapted to either gender and not usually too many variants in a single school class.

It's also a saint's name--a saint with the best reputation, someone who can eat hearty meals without worrying about the battle of the bulge.

He looked pretty in a big hat and red robes too. Not many of us can get away with that these days.....

Maybe you could become a standin for him this winter.

Hmmmm, a career change do you think? It may be about time, this line having been well over 30 years now ...

It's not a year-round career, unless you go to work at headquarters, where morning lasts 6 months, and night is another 6 months.

I was once scheduled for the night shift at Alert, in Nunavut. September through April ...
