Amy,
Still in the BBQ & Pooh Sticks Triathalon? I'm kinda missing your inputs to carry on with the story line. Busy? If not, could you generate some more dialog to move the action along? Thanks a bunch!

Yeah, I can head back--I guess the pie cart must have sunk into the sand far enough to be well anchored (or it's really heavy/well balanced) so it didn't even rock when Flamedancer tumbled into it after going full speed for most the length of the beachsmiley - winkeye

I'm trying to imagine the ~size~ of Flamedancer. Bigger than a dog, likely; smaller than a horse, conceivably. Still, that's a lot of momentum and inertia to be hurtling at a pie cart. You ~could~ write in that the cart tips over, because it's not a Player/Character; changes to the environment are legal, allowable, and encouraged, so long as they don't radically alter the universe to the point no other Player/Character can respond with a follow-up action. Embellishment and over-the-top actions add LOTS of flavor to the story.

Well, the squid's already taken pies, though I suppose he could be rather unobservant... smiley - eureka Or...

By my estimation, there will be NO LACK of pies--ever!--from any one of the pie carts. Take whatever you need; they'll make more (on-the-spot and instantaneously). One of the cool things about this imaginary stuff, you never run out of __________. [fill in the blank with whatever you need at the moment you need it; sorta like a mufflewhump]
