You are incredible. With a few short words you do my head in. What next? Talk to me Amy, I want to hear your thoughts.

Any particular reason you keep starting new threads? Not a problem--just curious.

Absolutely there's a reason. It's because I have no idea of how this thing works. Happy now?

Ah, fair enough... I take it you'd been gone awhile, then? I popped over to your PS and saw that you joined in 2004, so I assumed I'd just never run across you before--completely possible, as I run across people that have been active researchers longer than I occasionally.

Of course, it'd be easier to keep track of your conversations if you put something in the Subject box on your first posting (it's too late now, since it'll always come up as in our messages lists.

Actually, yes I joined in 2004, but I've not logged on for 5 years. So it's not like I'm familiar with this - a few months in 2004 and now I'm back. Erm, thanks for having me? Help me out here.

I was eating dinner...

I'll give helping a try, though it looks like you're offline now (the little eyes next to someone's name mean they're on h2g2--or at least have been in the last 15 minutes). Um, what skin are you using? If you're in Brunel (conversations have green at the top ans bottom, and every page has a yellow-on-black menu on the left) I can help easily. I can help some if you're using Alabaster (white background, like the main part of Brunel, navigation buttons at the top and bottom of the page) I think I can remember enough of the layout to help (or, for that matter, change my preferences for a bit). However, if you're in Goo (technically called Classic) I can't help much, at least as far as finding stuff on pages, because I don't know the layout at all, and the white text on the blue background gives me a splitting headache in less than 10 minutes.

Key: Complain about this post
