What time did you post to Points Askew? The post says 2 hours ago, and it's 11.30am now - the board opens at 9am - do you think you might have posted before that time?

Erm - just been trying to work that out... I suspect I got my French and English times mixed up

It was around ten minutes after you (or whoever) moved the thread... And my first post has just changed to "3 hours ago" (in the last two or three minutes)

Now 11:45 UK time - so I guess it was posted at around 08:45 UK

The reason I noticed was that I'd posted once to the thread - gone on to another thread to answer and couldn't find the 'post' button - then had a quick look at the various F pages and saw they still had the 'board closed' message up

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on it. The opening did have issues originally, so it could be something - maybe my moving the thread opened it or something. It's a pig for me to test, as I *can* post when it's closed. I'll have to try it with one of my 'alternative' accounts. Thanks for alerting it - I hope its not a bug, but it could be!

If I remember - and actually get into work before 10 am my time* I'll give it a try again tomorrow

It might just be blind optimism but I get the feeling most of them are calming down a bit nowadays. Despite the fact they tend to get a little 'robust' from time to time they're not yet ready to be condemned to the 'mad, bad or sad' categories
