Hi Mac smiley - smiley

Yup, unfortunately I'm completely addicted to the stuff... so much so that I now can't get through a day at work without an intravenous drip of Islay smiley - tongueout... - Have a look at A602939 which was my first effort at writing for the guide... a long, long, long time ago smiley - yikes

smiley - erm Don't know If I dare admit this to a Glaswegian, but I'm not even Scottish - my last home in the UK was that wonderful smiley - ill little city on the Scottish Border that the Scots and English have been trying to give away to each other for centuries - Carlisle.

For my sins I'm now living in France (which is even worse than Carlisle smiley - winkeye) so any offers of foodparcels containing deep fried haggis and chips would be very welcome smiley - tongueout

smiley - cheers

smiley - yikes Haggis hunting season is over??? smiley - wah

I guess that means I'll have to put up with battery farmed haggis then... they never taste the same though smiley - winkeye

You got to live on Islaysmiley - bigeyes - lucky so-and-so!

I've never actually got across there... been to Skye and most of the West Coast and spent a little time around Elgin on the other side, but never got to Islay.smiley - cry... One abiding memory of Scotland is waking up in a Campervan on the top of a pass at 7 in the morning and hammering on the doors of a nearby distillery at nine for the first tour of the day... Whisky tasting at 9:30 in the morning... that's when you really know you're on holiday smiley - biggrin

---

(By the way - I guess by the capital letters you're using a digibox... have you run across A751501... which is supposed to be quite useful (I don't use one myself so I've just taken the word of others smiley - winkeye).

Also, the reason you're having problems with smileys is that the servers don't recognise the <SMILEY> in capitals in a conversation, can you write in lower case with your box?
