Well I did it!
I handed in my notice at the brewery!
I wanted to keep on working there, but just can't afford it

W**k is still confusing, I expect I shall still have a job in a month, but I can't be sure. 
It could be anything from papershuffling and telesales to Brewer 
I have applied for an alternative job incase, and it offers everything the current one doesn't. Heat in the office, a living wage, a pension, prospects! but no brewing.
I know if I walk away from the chance to brew now, having got this close, I shall always wonder, but it is a frustrating environment. 
Downer#2 A piece of art I bought a couple of months ago (I really couldn't afford it) fell off the wall 
and has broken. I can glue it back together but 
Downer#3 A certain researcher seems to be going out of its way to insult folk. I hope he gives up and goes away soon.
Just eaten a box of exotic 
that I was given

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit.
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

Well, one of the other breweries has called me they might need someone.
Sounds like more of a holiday cover thingy, but we shall see
