Brain Screwed in!??

Post 1

Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde

Dear Sir,

Having read your last comment in Amy P.'s thread, it's my humble opinion that if you do in fact just have your brain screwed in, as you claim, then you would have not made the comment that poor Faith will not have the same.

That was the implication of your statement.

Just because Faith is being raised in a religious realm does not mean that she will not have a brain. Apparently you have overlooked a few figures in history, such as Ghandi...

Conviction often comes through religion, and that, I assume is part of why you are so damn opposed to religion.

I just ask you not pick on Faith, and that you not say such knee-jerk comments to Amy for the time being, considering that she is going through a difficult time right now...

Whether one has faith or not, I believe we can all see that LOVE is what is needed, not criticism.

I give you love. Bless.

tacsatduck- beware the <sheep> lie

the only other part of that comment that puzzled me is...in fact you do have a religon
from the dictionary
2 : a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices

you do have a a belief in matters of God and such not giving you your own personal religion...you may even find your self lumped into other groups of people who feel the same way you do...

but all of that isn't as important as you not giving Amy or the Paperbaby a hard time right now...you can give me a hard time if you feel you need to belittle someone elses faith right now

implication of my statement in such a way is in error, I wish not to implicate Faith in any such matters and your bringing in of Faith into an obvously unflavourable argument demeans you sir.

if you truly belive that was my meaning then I am sorry for that interpritation.

As for religion, as for a set of beliefs, well it's a bit of contraticting term as a persons religion is not beliving in religion that can make many headaches. in god, I belive in god but not in religion it is a farce.
