Sounds fun
You've changed you h2g2 nickname, any reason for this? Your new one's cool.
I'm ill at the moment which is really annoying as I want to go and protest about the war, but am too ill to leave the house

My new nickname is a Billy Bragg song, but it seemed appropriate at the moment....
that's too bad that you're sick. I actually caught a cold last night at a honk-for-peace protest. We had a die-in downtown and camped on the street. A lot of charades in the cold.

Yeah, very appropriate
I went to a big protest in London this weekend. I think about 500,000 went which was much fewer than the last one (2 million!) but it still felt worthwhile. Fortunately the police weren't that noticeable and were nowhere near as aggressive as they were on thursday night when my friend went to protest outside the Houses of Parliament.
Die-ins always seemed like a really effective form of peaceful protest.
It's sad to think that by the time you'll read this people will have died in an unnecessary war. I think I'll have to go and find my Anti-Flag CDs

have you heard the song Bad Gadjit? (by the Gadjits, obviously)
if so, listen to it and then listen to Radio Radio by Elvis Costello.... weird, i tell you.
Key: Complain about this post
