Beatle-reissus; wouldn't it be great if....

About every band that was anywhere on the popular map in the ‘60s has their back-catalogue remastered again (and again). Except for…the greatest and best group of them all. Their albums were available as CD’ s around the mid ‘80s with the first albums in original mono, no extra tracks, no (or hardly audible) remastering and (worst of all) no remixing.
My favourite album ever is Revolver; brilliant songs, catchy tunes, tape loops, the lot! But compared to the original LP, the CD is an example of bad mastering to the point where it’s terrible; instruments are in the far corners of the stereo spectrum.
Some Beatle-bootlegs sounded like it ís possible to make good-sounding cd’s and listening to the brilliant job EMI/Capitol did on the excellent Beach Boys-albums.
And the songtrack of Yellow Submarine sounded great!
So here’s the plan:

1. Restore the original artwork! Even including (but I’m willing to negotiate) the Emitex-recordcleaning-commercials.
2. From the Please Please Me-album to ‘Help’: a remixed stereo and a mono-version per album, this would make the mono-album-lovers happy (I can’t think why; it’s probably cheaper, because you’d only need the one speaker) and it would be brilliant to listen to this band with the vocals and drums nicely in the centre, guitars, baking vocals and piano’s around it.
3. I would like extended versions from ‘Revolver” “Sgt. Peppers”, The “White Album” and “Abbey Road” including outtakes. It would be nice to be able to compare the different mono- en stereomixes of Sgt. Peppers and the White Album. Personally I’m very curious about what Abbey Road might sound like!
4. Liner notes by Mark Lewisohn, session photographs, especially on the extended version-cd’s!

Any more ideas on this? Am I the only one around to have this wish?smiley - erm
