A Fraggle Rock fan I take it? Why, I've not seen that in years! I enjoy watching the Muppets, though, and I've seen all 7 of their films lately. So, are you a big Jim Henson fan, or is there another reason behind your name?

I thought I'd pop by and welcome you to the guide, so I just would like to say welcome, and if you want to ask questions about the guide I'll do my best to answer, and I always enjoy a chat. So feel free to talk away.
As you're new here, you may find the following useful:

Hmm... Not sure what else to write, but hope to talk to you soon smiley - ok

Uncle Travelling Mac

I'm not a particular Henderson fan, but I did love Fraggle Rock when I was a kid - it made me smile. The Uncle Travelling Mac nickname just seemed very appropriate for h2g2.

Cheers for the welcome - friendly place!

I remember I had a Fraggle Rock colouring book, and that the girl was called Red, and there was a man with a dog in a lighthouse, plus Uncle Travelling Mac, but that's about it. But I remember enjoying watching it. I heard they made a cartoon series of it, too, but that wouldn't be the same.
But yes, it is an appropriate name for a hiker smiley - biggrin

H2G2 does try to be a friendly place, which is good. I know it sounds glib, but believe it or not, I've made quite a few friends on here. I expect you'll settle in and enjoy everything fine. smiley - smiley
