Hi Ictoan
Please could you tell me whether you received the last two emails
The reason I ask is someone says they haven't been receiving my responses and I don't know whether it's my side, their side or not.
Is there a way of setting up a 'click here if you have read this' message...obviously I'd only use it occassionally.

cheers! I hate hoop jumping. I'd be much happier with a sitting down with a tutor for an hour or so and just discussing the various theories and implications (bit like they used to do before written exams were invented) but of course they can't do that with the numbers they have.
Your Capoeira thing is the one I thought it was - the martial art disguised as dance. There was a film about it years ago. Fascinating and quite entrancing when I see it performed. I always fancied doing a martial art but I have the co-ordination of a very undco-ordinated thing!

sounds like me happy to discuss it in class but then I struggle with exams
Ah did I mention it took me like a year or so to learn to drive and then I had hypnotism. I guess I'm not coordinated either. I will put in the work though and if I set my mind on something I won't give up. Practice makes perfect, I just have to sort out the mind first.

hypnotism for driving?
I had a friend who went to one of those uni comedy hypnotism things where they didn't bring her out of it properly and she ended up driving back fixated by the red lights of the car in front - got completely lost! Luckily friends drove her back to the show and another hypnotist who knew his stuff brought her out properly (not that hypnotism is actually a real thing, just down to individual susceptibility and hence why I won't go anywhere near it!)

Yes I've been hypnotised twice and could (if I learnt) hypnotise myself though I think it best I don't. I wouldn't do it for comedy though. My ex thought that I seemed more confident when I came round. I passed my test after the hypnotism so there could be something in it.
I've always joked I am muddled cos I was born on the cusp ie. Aquarius and Capricorn
I was doing Tai Chi the other day A635933

It's all down to how suggestive you are. I am, very, have to work very hard at it (hence the rationalism) so you probably were. Doesn;t make it a bad thing, just means the whole reasoning behind it is kinda skewy.
Tai Chi is another that interests me, as is Aikido - nearly joined the local Aikido group but the main bod training it left the area just asI made my mind up. Thing is there's a lot of charlatans out there and I won't go for a group someone hasn't recommended to me.

I'm open to anything that helps. Perhaps that is wrong though, who knows, there is no book on how to live life unless you count the bible and I have a feeling the Victorians had a heavy hand on translating that.
I guess its important to do something for the head and something for the body.

well, the bible is just one of many holy books from the world's religions. It has good advice and bad advice in it - some applies to some people at some times - other situations and times and people won't find anything relevant. Make your own code up I say, informed by the best of what you come across. And never mind edited by the victorians, what about the romans, jews, greeks etc etc - they all had a hand in it.

You are right. Often I find myself going with the 'if you aren't happy, then change it' works for me.
