I wonder if you will get this. I saw your post asking where I was a while ago. I locked myself out of my PS but I am back now with a whizzbang comp. so hope to be around for a while.

I see you came to England. I wish I had spotted that post smiley - grr How did you get on. Did you find 'us' much changedsmiley - huh I bet you did.

How are you and the family these days? I hope you are still around Hoo Too as most of your threads seem to be out of date.

Look forward to a post, smiley - cheers

Hi Websailor,smiley - smiley

I've not been here for a while, a couple of months I guess, so what a nice surprise to see your note as soon as I logged in.

The Tosh crashed back then and had to have a new hard drive and it's taking ages to get it all back the way it was.

I've also been spending a bit of time on the Interstate highway, bouncing between work in Florida and family in Georgia. I'm back down south now for a while and am beginning to get this computer into shape, loading better drivers than the ones the guys in the computer shop gave me and so on.

I was in England for the first time in 12 years back in March, it was a hoot, so many things I hadn't seen before like er the M25 and Marmite made with Guinness.

I rather think the Tate modern was still a power station last time I strolled by too.
And Gosh!! don't you all drive such tiny cars!! and on such tiny roads too !!

I did manage to spend some time out on the moors in my beloved Derbyshire whilst there, skinned my knuckles climbing that millstone grit, felt the wind in my face accompanied by the smell of ....

Hopefully I will be back before too long.

Family are all doing well thanks for asking, Mrs Trician smiley - angelhas set up a small exercise room in town with some spinning bikes and weights where she can subject her customers to further torture.

The little Tricians are fine too, the smiley - nahnah is doing exceptionally well in school and the smiley - monster is himself in England at the moment on an extensive mission to 'do europe' whilst he takes a year off from University.

Tell me how things are with yourself Websailor...I'd love to hear.

Hello Alec,

It is good to hear from you. I began to wonder if you had taken to the hills, beyond the reach of technology smiley - biggrin i have been changing computers and going on to Broadband and there has been a lot to do sorting seven years of work on the old one so I have an idea of what you mean smiley - smiley

It must be very tiring travelling back and forth to your family and work but I guess your roads and traffic are not as bad as some of ours.

You didn't say what part of England you came to. I saw the bit about you coming to England, then I didn't see another post. Pity, we might have been able to say "Hi" to you. The M25 you are more than welcome to, but it is strange you should mention Marmite with Guinness - someone. gave us a jar only the other week. smiley - smileyI am sure the Tate Modern was a power station too the last time I was in London, though shut down by then.

Tiny cars, tiny roads smiley - doh You sure have gone American my friend, telling us you have bigger everything than us smiley - rofl The best things come in small packages you know, but yes, the roads are small for the amount of traffic they have to carry.

I have a friend on Hoo Too who lives in Derbyshire. I haven't been since schooldays but loved it.

Good to hear your family is well and thriving. I hope your smiley - monster is enjoying England.

Things are ok with us. My other half is still plodding on with his restoration work at Middleton Hall, Tamworth in spite of his duff lungs, and I am still doing my charity work, though not as much as I used to do. I keep my badger thread running as the badgers have been faithfully coming nightly for two years and nearly four months, except for a winter break. smiley - biggrin I also do a fortnightly article for smiley - thepost on here.

The two smiley - monsters are doing their own thing and have done for years and we don't see a lot of them.

I hope your Florida pad didn't suffer too much with the hurricanes this year. We have had some pretty dreadful floods this last summer. Now, February we might expect it, but not in summer. This year has been dreadful for many people, and some are still camping out in caravans and tents waiting for their houses to dry out and be repaired. There was flooding in several places not far from us but we escaped thank goodness.

Lovely to hear fro you again. I was telling a friend about your lovely 'mansion' in Georgia, and I know you gave me a link to look at it. In the changeover i think I have lost it. Any chance of having it again. You were busy working on the house the last time we chatted, and it looked like heaven.

Take care, best wishes to family,
