Zephyr in the sky at night I wonder

Well I didn't have an illustrious performance last semester. But oh well the new one has just started last week.

I'm taking British Literature in honor of DNA. I remember many years ago I was but a young lad reading the Hitchhiker's Guide. Now I'm all grown up and DNA remains my inspiration. Sometimes I wonder if DNA studied this same subject when he was in the University or atleast read about Chaucer. Chaucer is supposed to have done alot for the English language and is considered the father of English poetry.

I have to admit that it is somewhat complicated to read "Old English." Like for example it will read "heer" instead of "hair."

I had a teacher two semesters ago that I couldn't quite place. Later on I realized he looked like DNA. He was a really nice teacher and used to say that he was working on a novel about lawyers. "Good lawyer, bad lawyer" was the novel he said he was about done with. I asked him about it and he said that his novel was a bit cliche-ish. Then he proceeded to check my essay and liked it very much. I received an A on that class. I am very proud of that. Not just because of the grade but because of what I learnt. Now when I re-read those essays I am startled at the quality of them. I can't believe I wrote them. One of them is an entry here at h2g2.

When I first started at the University I used to come here and be awe struck by jwf and others in the Proof that god exists thread. Their quality of writing was incredible and it inspired me to succeed in my English classes.

Interestingly enough I still use my all time favorite blue goo towel to shower!

Perhaps someday my secret passion for English will bear fruit. I have some ideas on a book but haven't written about it yet.

For some reason I woke up really early around 2 am. Then I remembered by my good ol' home sweet home at h2g2 and here I am. smiley - biggrinsmiley - towel
