So where abouts is Rhode Island, I apologise for my terrible American geography.....
Hope to chat soon,

Rhode Island - well, it's the smallest of the 50 states. It is in New England, the north east part of the country. It is just under Massachusetts, and is almost all coastline. It is really very pretty, with not-so-cold winters and not-so-hot summers because of the ocean. The politics are reputed to be rather crooked, and the Mayor of the capital city, Providence, has just been indicted (once again), this time for bribery, I think! We have a wonderful zoo, and lots of 'mansions' down in Newport built by the "robber barons" of the industrial age. Of course, anything 'old' here is practically new to those in England!

Thank you for that. Sounds like a nice place to grow up and grow old. I've got a very soft spot for a little village in the heart of the English countryside called Avebury. The village itself is enclosed within part of an ancient stone circle. The place just has the most awesome "Feel" to it, one of those things that just has to be experienced. I have decided I want my ashes scattered there - when the day comes.
