Arsenal, I bet you found melinda's name by looking at a list of new researchers somewhere, right? They do helpful things like that for people who just want to randomly chat with each other.

Where are you from in France, Arsenal? I tried to learn French in school but did not get very far.

Right now I am thinking about the Terminator movies. Have you seen them? I know that Deidzoeb has. I almost want to buy them all on DVD. Anyways, I usually hate action movies but I like the Terminator series. I think it is because I saw T2 first and that stars Linda Hamilton as a very strong female character. I know the movies are sort of ridiculous but I like them anyway. It does not get bogged down in too much gore. Also there is some cheesy humor. Oh, Arnold as the Terminator told Claire Danes and the guy playing John that levity is important.

Anyway, that is all that is on my mind right now. I'm just trying to start a conversation or something. I usually like dramatic movies.

Oh, and I like Lord of the Rings. The second one had more action but the good dialogue and the whole look of the film is classy. It isn't a bunch of people blowing each other up with guns. I know Terminator is that but somehow I like it. Have you noticed how both Sarah Connor and John are petite people. Arnold was originally going to play the guy that gets Sarah pregant in T1. See, they could have gone with the bulked up Rambo saviour thing but they didn't.

I know I am rambling. Feel free to change the subject or simply ignore me. Maybe Deidzoeb will write back.

Maybe the first Lord of the Rings seemed longer because we saw it in the theater. You just like how sad and sympathetic Smeagol seems in the Two Towers.

Come on, arsenal. I told Melinda that h2g2 was a message board with friendly, inviting people, not like the mean and scary message boards she's used to. I hope you're not going to prove me wrong. There are plenty of other chat rooms and message boards to discuss erotic movies if you'd like to.

I'd like to get back to Lord of the Rings.

You really think the second movie was better? I guess I just like the balrog in Fellowship, and I get sick of the section of story where Sam and Frodo and Gollum hike forever to reach Mt Doom. It's always difficult for sequels to be as good as the first installment. And the sections Gollum/Smeagol struggling to be a nice guy are pretty good, even if the split personality is somewhat cliched.

We should watch them tonight so we can see Return of the King this weekend.

Hi Melinda,Rob.Its very difficult to watch a film wich is not erotic without sleeping.You were right when you have told Melinda that it is message board with friendly, inviting people.But the problem is i,my girlfriend and our friends do not like to watch films which are not erotic.I have told them many times to change the item without any success so far.Thats why i always find very interesting reading about the films you have watched with Melinda.
