I noticed one thing, though: apparently there is some sort of problem wrt Konqueror,
the KDE web/file browser. I had a couple of iterations being asked to log in, then
apparently being accepted, only to be told that I would need to register in order to
participate in the conversations. Konqueror was set up to accept cookies and
run javascript, so the specs seem to have been met. Oh well. good ol'Netscape4.7
will do for now.
