2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

and otter things.
Otter things. nearly finished the course of antibiotic eye-drops for the stye on my right eye, which randomly came up last week smiley - huh - have the script for oral antibiotics on-hold, in case I need them; the eye has virtually cleared up already, so guessing and hoping I won't have to call in the back-up oral antibiotics.

Was feeling so ill, the past few days... that, yesterday morning, I was considering how long I could put off having to contact hospital; assuming it was ill from low electrolytes, or cortisol, or some bad lurking injection sending me near a adrenal crisis.

So, I went to the gym... did a little cardio intervals on the elyptical, and some weights (shoulder, chest press, some bicept stuff, and upright rows etc...

Then we had our client we trained, which went well...
And then we got nabbed by the gym manager/our old PT, who did a bicept session on me and W...
All on the preacher bench, gradually increasing weight, and increasing reps.
By the time I finished with a set of 60 reps at 20 KG, I felt fine, just, stopped feeling ill; my spatial awareness had returned, so I wasn't smashing into doorways etc, and my hearing had returned to normal (also spatial awareness related I think) smiley - erm and I didn't feel like I was dieing. smiley - weird
Went to the pub last night, for a short period, and slept well last night smiley - wow - its so nice being able to not only sleep, but sleep well, and recall having slept, as well as recalling dreams; which is a sideeffect of having stopped levothyroxine smiley - huh - also my hair restarted growing once I stopped taking them, and is now, finally as long as it was in 2014, before commencing chemotherapy smiley - huh - yet again I'd not basically noticed it just stopped growing at some point.
Simularly my nails are now in better condition than I can ever recall in my life smiley - huh - since stopping levothyroxine. smiley - alienfrown from recent bloods, TSH is still in normal range, T3 is getting near normal range, and is rising faster than T4, indicating good conversion, and good metabolic control of conversion smiley - zensmiley - smiley T4 is rising more slowly, I assume due to either quick conversion to T3, or that the thyroid is predominantly producing T3, any of which would help explain why levo made me so ill, as it is T4 only, and I never got satisfactory T3 levels whilst on it smiley - ermsmiley - scientist

The free lunch, is this afternoon, after boot camp, with the other gym instructors... in the Turkish café/takeaway/restuarunt we tend to use, which is near the gym smiley - zensmiley - drool

May be going to a sports/gym open day this Saturday, at the professional university gym, which holds some sessions regularly, free, for visually impaired/blind, so going to that to spy on how good their equipment is and see if it would be interesting to attend there regularly smiley - zen

I'm having problems getting clothes to fit. smiley - wah my arms are too big for some of the short sleeved stuff now (long-sleeved blouses have long been a no go area smiley - blush ) smiley - erm

Trying currently to sort out the accessibility of our fitness instructor course/qualification; the course material, online, is apauling smiley - wah and the digital manual seems inaccessible smiley - grrsmiley - zen

That is good news that not taking levothyroxine has improved your thyroxin levels smiley - ok Sounds like the gym burned off the extra cortisol so that you were back at what is 'normal' for you smiley - ok

That is annoying that the course material is not currently accessible smiley - grr I hope they get it sorted for you very quickly, as they are legally obliged to do... Glad your work at the gym is going well, though smiley - biggrin

Difficult about clothes indeed - my biceps are larger than average thanks to pushing my wheelchair, so I struggle, too, and it seems to be happening more often these days that manufacturers can save material by making slim fit shirts with slim arms...

Pierce The Pirate ~ out of Hotblack Desiato mode again ~

This little anecdote from real life (listener telling it to a radio show host) might cheer you all up. And anyway I have to tell this somewhere so might as well do it here better than in other forums:

Young woman: - I had this terrible soreness in my mouth and called my dentist, but she just told me to rinse my mouth with some rinsing fluid, whatever.
Radio host: - Yes?
YW: - Yeah, but after a week I had to call her again because I couldn't possibly eat anything harder than mashed potatoes, so she agreed to seeing me. And asked me if I had performed any unprotected oral sex ...
RH: - WUT???
YW: - Yeah, and I had to admit that - yeah, well ...
RH: - Oh no ...
YW: - It gets worse: My dentist is my fathers sister ...
RH: - Oh, crap! smiley - yikes
YW: - Yeah, and then she sent me to my smiley - doctor who confirmed the diagnosis and told me I should have startet medication less than 24 hours after - and it had already been a week ...
RH: - Oh no ...
YW: - Yeah, and she told me to inform my lover asap, so I sent him a text but in my hurry I didn't send it to him ...
RH: - Oh no ...
YW: - Yeah, it was sent to my father ...
RH: - Oh my Bob! smiley - yikes
YW: - Yeah, so I called him immediately and he told me it was okay, he had passed it on to my mother ...

The rest was laughter smiley - laughsmiley - roflsmiley - laugh

smiley - pirate
