h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Until I've done the housework anyhow....
NO beer or ginger beer until I've at least done the majority* of the housework today...
At this rate it may take some time... I've managed to put the bedding on to wash, make a neater pile of the towels for the wash so I can see how many there are, and make the bed (well put a sheet on, the duvet has been put into the spare room until this heat deminishes somewhat...)

but procrastination means I've not gotten any further yet

The loverly cool breeze earlier from about 8.30 onwards has now gone... and its hot and sticky (but not in a good way )
onwards and upwards

Housework all done....
But I'm so* hot and sweaty now... I think I'll shower then crack open the beer as I start constructing something for dinner (either chicken ceaser salad, or chicken teika salad I think... Minamum cooking basically and min heat production...)
Actually... before I shower think I'll call up a friend and see if he's up to anything tonight

Ice cream.

I just say blueberry ice cream....

Temperature now 22C outdoors; 26,7C indoors. Think I need more lemonade.

Its cooler here than yesterday... I'd guess mid twentys inside at the moment especially in here next the PC a bit cooler elsewhere in the house though
Actually cool enough to cook something tonight... though not too* much... cooked chicken breast to make ceaser salad

I'm impressed.

Its the only way I'd have gotten any* housework done yesterday.... It was so hot and humid yet the only day I reallly have to do the housework on, so I really had to force myself... treating the beer/ginger beer afterwards* as a kinda reward for doing it...
