Of ginger beer
I think today is ment to be the hottest day of the year so far its not nice... however hot it is, its not nice
Luckly I got a good supply of ginger beer (the fentimans I think it is), when my grocerys arrived all nicely chilled in the fridge now...
Plus some strange cordiel thing I Had whilst at my Dad's, which I thought was so I've a bottle of that in the fridge too... its Ginger and lemon grass flavour which works really well
Hmmm... ginger beer.... ginger and lemon grass cordiel... or should I give up and go straight for the cold guinness?

Think I've drunk all the gin and vodka... I do have some cuban rum though... which oughta work quite well I think with the cordial or just the ginger beer.. hmm... yeh, maybe a bit of lemonaid if its with the cordial

Treated myself to a bottle of Stolly vodka - yes I know it's stupidly extravagent, but I maintain it does taste better, and I'm sticking to it. Okay yes and also some quality tomato juice. And just used them to make what I've decided is the best bloody Mary ever with a ton of ice and all the trimmings except the celery..but hey I'll live with that. God its in this heat. Think I'll have another...

(I reckon rum is just right for this heat as well. Mind you all these things do really go with any sort a weather ).

I'm getting very tempted by the rum....

I'm getting tempted to pop round to effers for a vodka or two...

it's so hot and humid here i am planning a road trip to the northernmost part of norway to visit my step brother

All this talk of beverages is making me thirsty.

I just can't believe how much water and juice I'm drinking in this heat... Imean I normally drink a lot of water all of the time anyhow... but now looking forward to having some more ginger beer a little later on this afternoon

is it very hot where you are - or should you be tested for diabetes, i wonder

excessive drinking of alcohol is one thing, but too much water, juices or the like might indicate a medical problem

don't want to scare you, but you should consider seeing a about it

Its just hot here... over 30 now in the front room, a bit less up here in my bedroom with the fan on last night I don't think it went below 20 degrees all night... and Ifind it too hot once its anything above about 17 degrees


Though I may have diabetes insipitus as a reuslt of my accident years ago, but I've talked to teh docs about that years back and they didn't think it a problem (its very differnt to diabetes melitus and isn't involving insulin or blood sugars and the like...) Oo maybe its time for ginger beer now

most people have no idea that thirst can be a symptom of diabetes, it seems. i didn't myself until i was told

it's very hot here too - and watching le tour de france is not helping. those poor guys are riding up mountains in hot sunshine

Well, since I don't watch I've never heard them myself. However far many people around me do waste their lives watching and according to them it's a bl**dy noise and nuisance. Guess you'd better leave that noise maker at home.

I studied diabetes a fair bit when I did my Masters degree, though I was mainly looking at teh genetics of it, so I covered it then and in my first degree too I can't just lay on the bed all* day with the fan on me... but its so* hot in teh front room
right... it must* be ginger beer time now

It's perfectly OK to be in bed all day - fan or no fan - especially if the company is right

Yes... Its so* hot here, Ideclined the option of having someone to share the bed with all day today nearly 10 at night and its not cooled enough to even get a shower yet and its even warmer than that in the front room

same here and it doesn't help that i am down with asthma and bronchitis

feels like i sprained a muscle in my belly from coughing too hard. so don't make me cough, sneeze or laugh, please
